- Alterations and Additions to a modest lakeside weekender, to promote a reinvigorated house with a focus on family gatherings and entertaining. The house is now oriented towards the lake views capturing a multitude of vistas of the environment. The previous insular spaces have been exploded into a holistic arena, expanding and linking areas with stimulating and expressive spatial character.
- The building’s spatial qualities and fenestration of vertical, horizontal and pivoting louvre screens provides a direct response to the vagaries
- of the local tropical climate, with an emphasis on the occupants thermal comfort.
- The high quality and innovative finishes relate to the client’s desire to showcase this house as an entertainment palace.
