- A truly insprational client relocating from a Sydney warehouse environment to the rainforest surrounding Port Douglas. The alterations and additions to a rectangular concrete block box-house ensuring an ongoing relationship with the tropical north.
- Superficial finishes were an exception to the rule as base surfaces were exposed for floors and walls. Lightweight timber structure identifying with the north Queensland environs.
- A transparent glass roof and wall welcome the overhanging and fringing rainforest into the bathroom, the dappled sunlight constantly changing the internal appearance.
