• Refurbished premises at 128 Spence Street, Cairns.
• The original house was constructed in 1900 by John Griffiths, a local timber merchant, as a family home and more recently accommodating commercial uses due to proximity to the city precinct. The refurbishment rearranged the original house on the site to accommodate a new showroom on the ground floor, offices above, landscaped courtyard and the Design Studio.
• The building promotes a contemporary presentation of the heritage values of Cairns, a collaboration of distinct values and combination of elements to form an elegant and practical development solution.
