Radisson Resort Fiji - edgearchitecture

This project required a particularly sensitive and disciplined role for edgearchitecture in meeting a pre-determined program with an existing consultant team and site preparation already underway. Consultants and suppliers spanned the Pacific, in Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. The construction team employed over 400 indigenous staff and workers on site. The construction extended over a prolonged wet season, including cyclone activity and a political coup, and was noted as the only project of this nature to be completed on time in Fiji. This project, constructed concurrently with the Port Denarau Retail Centre, was successfully completed on time to the satisfaction of client and respective operators.
edgearchitecture provided project management services, design review, coordination of consultant team based in New Zealand, Fiji and Australia, Contract Administration and assistance with FF&E procurement.
Since the completion of these projects the client has commissioned edgearchitecture as architects on Denarau Island Golf Course Resort project.
